My Bio
Tumbling into London off the back of several years living and designing in Africa, I finished a B.A Honours in Jewellery Design with a wealth of cultural influences. However, I’d never forgotten a youth growing up on England’s streets with Punks and Skaters – getting spat and sworn at in public for being a little more than creative with our dress. The colours and forms spinning round in our heads spread from our fingertips to our clothes, up and across the walls – to decorate our urban landscape with new ideas.

Drawing from my experiences in Africa, I gathered my urban scrawl into long lines of poetry, which I draped over delicate wrists and backs. Working these lines into silver and gold - I used skin as my canvas - drawing across the body in Japanese inks to capture the true flow and contour of the human form. Lifting the designs literally from the body means that each piece fits and compliments the wearer perfectly.

Like my own stories - I accept lines from poetry, favourite songs and even wedding vows - weaving the text into a new tumbling pattern of words - each verse dictating its own structure. Wrapping words around your body is an intimate and private way to show sentiment, much like the script that I engrave across each new Engagement Ring.

Approached by the British Fashion Council, my Debut Collection from Central Saint Martins was taken to St Petersburg to stand alongside the work of British Fashion Designers Vivienne Westwood and Alice Temperley. Following this, as part of a groundbreaking exhibition in Shanghai, my work was again selected to feature in a showcase of U.K based design talent and culture. Accompanied by the Mayor of London, my work was presented with a catwalk collection by Julian Macdonald and a performance by The Royal Ballet.

I am proud to have developed a new breed of Jewellery Design that doesn’t dictate an aesthetic but pushes the boundaries of client involvement and design development. I am a Fine Jeweller forging a new way forward in a fashion led, urban environment.
